PSG Africa Ecosystem Demo

This privacy notice explains how PSG Africa(the "Responsible Party") collects and processes personal information through the Ecosystem demo at psgv1demo.nexusiq.co.za (and subsequently at ecosystem.psgafrica.co.za), in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013("POPIA").
What we collect
- Name, surname, work email, telephone (optional), company name, industry.
- Demo interaction data: which problems you selected, what wizard answers you gave, which dashboards you viewed, which AI prompts you tapped, and what events the system recorded as part of your demo session.
- Coarse location (country, region, city) derived from your IP at the moment of submission. Your IP address itself is not stored.
- Coarse device label (browser family + OS family, e.g. "Chrome on macOS"). Full user-agent strings are not stored.
- Referrer host and UTM parameters when present in the URL that brought you to the demo.
Why we collect it
- To personalise the demo to the industry and problem set you tell us about.
- To enable a member of the PSG Africa team to follow up with you regarding your demo and discuss whether PSG's solutions are a fit for your operation.
- For internal analytics on the kind of operations exploring the demo, so we can improve the product and the demo over time.
How long we keep it
- Active retention: 24 months from the date of your demo session.
- After 24 months, your personal identifiers are anonymised; aggregate, non-identifiable statistics may be retained indefinitely.
Your rights (POPIA s23–25)
- Access — request a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Correction — have inaccurate information corrected.
- Deletion — have your information deleted from our systems.
- Objection — object to certain processing activities.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@psgafrica.co.za with the subject line "POPIA Request — [Your name]". We respond within 30 days.

Cookies
- We set one strictly-necessary session cookie (
psgecodemo_session) to remember your demo state across pages. It ishttpOnly,Secure, andSameSite=Lax. It expires 7 days after your last visit. - We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising trackers anywhere on this demo.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. Information you submit through this demo is processed by PSG Africa staff for the purposes set out above. We may engage processors (e.g. our email provider) to deliver service to you; those processors are contractually bound to the same standards of care.
Security
All communication is over TLS. The demo enforces a strict Content Security Policy, stores no raw IPs or full user-agent strings, and gates internal review of captured information behind authenticated access. Access to your personal information by PSG staff is logged in an internal audit trail.
